There will be amazing food, yoga, meditation, workshops to inspire your creativity, a sauna, kayaking and hiking excursions, stargazing, and community in which to forge lasting, meaningful connections.
LOCATION
Manhausen is a 14 acre private island in the Grøtøyleia strait, a half a kilometer away from the village of Nordskot in Steigen, Norway. Manshausen was once an integral part of the Grøtøya, an old trading post dating back to 1698.

Temperatures can average 45-55 degrees in September, and the center is well equipped for any inclement weather. There is the potential for the Northern Lights in the Autumn. Conditions permitting, the aurora borealis can start their dance in August this far North as the nights get darker and if skies are clear. The night skies will be breathtaking even without them!
ACCOMMODATIONS
Winning over 40 architectural awards, the Cabins are minimalistic in design with an emphasis on creating harmony between the weather, the surrounding pristine landscape, & light with modern, utilitarian designs and large panoramic windows. Less is more is the philosophy here.

The 7 Sea Cabins have a queen bed, full bathroom, sink, stove, & fridge. At the back of the cabin there is a bunk bed, additional guests beyond 2 persons can be added for $1,100 per person. Just email us at jenn@wellnesswithjenn.com.

The 2 impressive Sea Tower Cabins are two story, have a coffee machine, double bed, full bath, and there is an additional bed under the stairs. Same as the Sea Cabins, to add additional guests email us.
DINING
All meals are made using seasonal, local, and mostly organic ingredients. Breakfast is buffet style with fruits, yogurt, muesli, cheeses, cured meats and smoked salmon, eggs, breads, & jams. Lunch is single course, usually a pasta or rice dish with salad. Dinners are 3 courses prepared by their celebrated chef at the award winning restaurant.
ACTIVITES
The island is beautiful to walk around on and enjoy, and there is a hot tub and sauna also available. We have a kayaking and hiking excursion included in our adventure, and there are options if you want to book additional excursions on your own directly with the island. They have dry suits and outerwear for the kayaking to help with staying dry!
MEET US
Jenn has been leading retreats since 2017. She wanted to combine her love of travel with her love of yoga, tarot, and the bringing together of the coolest folks to be in mindful connection and community. With over 10 years of yoga teaching experience, countless trainings around Thai Bodywork, tarot, meditation, breath work, and more, she brings a dynamic yet playful approach to self inquiry and growth.
Rachel is a beautiful badass who is fulfilling one of her dreams of getting to travel regularly by coordinating these wonderful retreats.
PRICING
7 days, 6 nights at Manhausen.
Pricing includes meals on-site at the retreat center (breakfast, lunch, & dinner), daily practices and workshops by facilitators, a kayak & hiking excursion, sauna use, and transportation from Oslo city center to Oslo Airport and from Bodø Airport to the island (which is 2 boat rides away). Total travel time from Oslo is 3.5 hours including the flight to Bodø with 2 hours of that via boat. We recommend coming in and staying overnight in Oslo before our journey up North. Stay tuned for a Oslo add-on including a group walking tour and dinner!

THE FINE PRINT
Pricing includes meals on-site at the retreat center (breakfast, lunch, & dinner), daily practices and workshops by facilitators, kayak & hiking excursion, sauna & hot tub use, and transportation from Oslo center to Oslo Airport on 9/7 and from Bodo Airport to island (2 boat rides away). Total travel time from Bodo to Manhausen is 3.5 hours, 2 hours of that is via boat.
There is a bunkbed in the Sea Cabins for additional occupants beyond 2 persons priced at $1,100 each. Please email us directly at jenn@wellnesswithjenn.com to book the extra person(s).

*There is a $1000 non-refundable deposit on all reservations.* Pay in full options are due at time of reservation. Payment plan options require the $1,000 deposit and you will be emailed you your first invoice when you register. All final payments are due no later than July 15th, 2026.
A late fee of $100/ month will be applied for ANY late payments. No exceptions for this late fee. It is stressful and no fun to have to chase folks down. Please be diligent with your payments. Your understanding is appreciated!

NOT included in the retreat price above is the Oslo add on option, all airfare (both flights for Oslo and Bodo), alcohol available for purchase at the retreat center, meals outside of what is prepared at the retreat center, optional onsite services, additional excursions you may plan, and incidentals.

Refund policy:
Cancellations 90+ days before the Retreat commencement date will result in 50% of money previously paid to be refunded and 50% of money being forfeited due to non-refundable retreat-related expenses.
​
Cancellations 0-90 days before the retreat commencement date will result in 100% of money previously paid being forfeited due to non-refundable retreat-related expenses.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
It is possible to transfer your booking to another guest. All booking transfer requests must be submitted in writing to jenn@wellnesswithjenn.com at least 60 days before commencement of the retreat and must be approved in writing.

Should I get travel insurance?
We HIGHLY recommend you get travel insurance to cover any unforeseen disruptions to your trip.
